Hazel Quarterman
Hazel Quarterman is a recent graduate currently working as a Research Assistant at Georgia Southern University. She graduated from the University of Georgia in Spring of 2024 with a BSFR in Fisheries and Wildlife.
Hazel aspires to put science communication, community connection, and teamwork at the forefront of her work. She is pursuing a career as an aquatic ecologist with a focus on preserving resources for marginalized coastal communities, and is interested in finding a masters program focusing on estuarine ecology and resource management.
