Giordano Jacuzzi
Quantitative ecologist and bioacoustician pursuing a PhD at the University of Washington’s College of the Environment, where his research focuses on monitoring the effects of environmental disturbances on both wildlife and human communities. Gio uses autonomous acoustic recorders and machine learning techniques to detect wildlife vocalizations and anthropogenic activity and analyze relationships between resource management practices and biodiversity.
