Pooja P Preetha
Dr. Pooja Parvathy Preetha is an Assistant Professor of Environmental and Water Resources Engineering at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a Master of Technology in Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Her research focuses on hydrological and water quality modeling, geographic information systems and remote sensing, integrated groundwater management, and data-driven environmental sustainability. Dr. Preetha has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, delivered national and international presentations, and has led or contributed to externally funded research projects supported by the National Science Foundation, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln Laboratory, and the United States Department of Agriculture.
