Erasme Uyizeye
Erasme Uyizeye is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Brevard College in North Carolina. His research centers on freshwater ecology and contaminants. He focuses on development of indices to assess freshwater ecosystem integrity and restoration success, as well as understanding the fate and transport of contaminants of emerging concern, particularly PFAS and microplastics in waterways. His work also seeks to promote community engagement and data-driven policy to support effective management of freshwater ecosystems.
